Journal of Asian Health
Published by Stanford CARE, the journal’s mission is to contribute to the understanding of the social and medical determinants of Asian health globally. It features manuscripts, articles, and opinion editorials on a range of topics related to disease risk and health outcomes for Asian populations. The journal is a key part of establishing CARE as a platform for delivery of Asian health and an essential component of Phase 2 of development: rising to international prominence.
The journal’s mission is to contribute to the understanding of the social and medical determinants of health in Asians, in the United States and globally. JAH is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes two issues a year. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
Editor-in-Chief
Paul J. Wang, MD
Dr. Wang is a professor of medicine (cardiovascular medicine) and, by courtesy, of bioengineering at Stanford. He is also the director of the Stanford Cardiac Arrhythmia Service, a nationally recognized team with the goal of advancing treatment for all types of arrhythmias. Dr. Wang is an expert in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and has practiced cardiac electrophysiology as an arrhythmia expert for over 30 years. He has coauthored numerous textbooks and book chapters on catheter ablation, implantable defibrillators, sudden cardiac death, cardiac resynchronization/biventricular pacing therapy, and innovations in arrhythmia therapy. Dr. Wang also serves as the editor-in-chief of Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology, one of the leading scientific journals in the field.
