The Seed Grant Program provides funding for innovative and promising research projects on Asian health. Awards are typically announced in early March. The award period is for two calendar years, typically starting on May 1 and ending on April 30.

For our 2025 cycle, the Stanford Center for Asian Health Research and Education (CARE) and the Center for Digital Health (CDH) co-sponsored one specialized seed grant titled “The Use of Generative AI to Improve the Health of Asian Populations.” This initiative focused on leveraging the power of artificial intelligence to advance, implement, and promote cutting-edge digital solutions aimed at improving Asian health.
