Neha Soogoor

Neha graduated from California Lutheran University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She gained extensive experience in a developmental biology lab identifying and analyzing abnormalities in populations of Drosophila melanogaster fruit flies that arose through P-transposable element induced mutations. She is interested in narrative medicine and plans on becoming a physician that can help vulnerable populations suffering from disparities in health. Outside of academics, she is an avid dancer and often partners with non-profit organizations to raise money for communities that are in need of resources.
