Naomi Ahn
Naomi (she/her/hers) is a Master of Public Health student at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She earned her bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chinese Language & Culture, and obtained her medical degree from Seoul National University. Throughout college and medical school, she witnessed clinical encounters where the standard of care either could not be met due to systemic barriers or was simply not applicable to some patients considering their living circumstances. This frustration fueled her interest in addressing social disparities in healthcare. Her public health interests include, but are not limited to, the physical and mental health of children and adolescents. Outside of public health, Naomi enjoys trying new pastry places, walking her dog Poonya, and talking about K-pop.
