Muskan Kaur
Muskan (she/her/hers) is a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. During her undergraduate years, she delved into research, focusing on the intricate roles of D1 and D2 medium spiny neurons (MSNs) in neurological disorders. Her journey into neuroscience sparked a fascination with the complexities of the brain, fueling her ambition for a future in medicine. Growing up as a first-generation Sikh American, the realm of mental health was previously uncharted territory. However, her experiences have ignited a passion for bridging the societal gap in knowledge and awareness surrounding mental wellness. Outside of academia, Muskan finds joy in dancing (both giddha and bhangra!), listening to music, hitting the gym, and cherishing moments with her family and friends.
