Michael Kim, DDS

Dr. Michael Kim is a dentist who has been in private practice throughout Southern California for the past 30 years.  He was unexpectedly diagnosed with gastric cancer during a routine endoscopy and colonoscopy visit. He was treated by Dr. Yanghee Woo at City of Hope during the middle of the pandemic and remains under her meticulous care. He became involved with Hope for Stomach cancer and advocated for increased Congressional stomach cancer funding at the Capitol and President Biden’s Moonshot Cancer cabinet in the White House. He hopes to provide hope and support to those dealing with this disease through his story and volunteer work.
