Manogna Rachapudi

Manogna is an undergraduate student at New York Institute of Technology pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Life Sciences with a minor in Medical Humanities. She is a part of the accelerated Doctor of Osteopathic medicine program with goals to eventually become a physician. A series of personal experiences and a growing knowledge base on systemic issues in healthcare fuel her earnest aim to research and decrease healthcare inequities for the South Asian population, both in the U.S. and globally. As a part of the CARE Scholars program, Manogna hopes to work closely with leading researchers in Global Asian Health and eventually understand where her own work could fit in the existing body of knowledge. Manogna enjoys dancing, singing, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
