Justin Yan

Justin is a current 2nd year medical student at the University of Hong Kong. After completing his undergraduate degree in Medical genetics at Queen Mary University of London, he discovered his passion towards medical healthcare which ultimately led him to pursue a medical career back in his hometown. During his research in his undergraduate studies, he became increasingly frustrated at the lack of epigenetic and genetic data on Asians as a race across all diseases. He hopes that Stanford’s CARE programme would provide him the unique opportunity to contribute his part in providing more Asian healthcare data in addition to working with people from all around the world. In his spare time, he like music, basketball and binge watching TV shows.
