Justin C. Lee, MD, FACC
Dr. Justin C. Lee has been a general cardiologist for over 15 years. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Washington in 2006 and was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 2007. In addition to practice experience in the US, he has practiced medicine in Hong Kong for four years. Currently, he is a cardiologist with University Medical Partners (UMP). His office is situated in Oakland’s “Chinatown,” where there is a highly concentrated and yet diverse group of Asian Americans. He works closely with local primary care doctors to provide cardiac care to a predominantly Asian population. With UMP’s close connection to Stanford Medicine, he collaborates closely with Stanford’s faculty members to provide specialized cardiac care to this population. Since Asian Americans are underrepresented in medical research, he wishes to collaborate with Stanford University’s faculty to decentralize world-class medical research to the local people.
