Junjie (Anderson) Lu
Junjie (he/him/his) is currently enrolled in the PhD in Epidemiology and Clinical Research program at Stanford University. He holds an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, specializing in Health and Social Behavior, and an MBBS and MS from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Junjie's research focuses on social determinants of minority health, epidemiological methods, and clinical effectiveness. During his two years as an intern doctor, he led a pilot randomized controlled trial on acupuncture's effects on depressive symptoms. He is deeply committed to addressing health disparities in minority populations and bridges the gap between research and practical application. Junjie finds inspiration at the intersection of clinical medicine and public health, aiming to improve healthcare outcomes for underserved communities.
