Julia Raghu

Julia (she/her/hers) is an undergraduate Biochemistry major at the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in STEM Education. Her hope is to become a physician that serves her community through the emphasis of patient education. Currently, she spends her time learning as a student teacher through UT, alongside volunteering with children’s literacy programs, homeless cardiac health, and victims of domestic abuse in her community. She is passionate about health literacy and cardiac risk factors in the male Asian population, and hopes to further explore these topics as a part of the CARE Scholars team. Outside of academics, Julia enjoys reading, playing piano, and working as a medical assistant.
