John M. Inadomi, MD

Dr. Inadomi is the Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah and is an NIH-funded health services and outcomes research investigator focused on reducing the incidence and mortality from gastrointestinal malignancies. He has an H-index of 74 and has published in the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Gut. He has participated in numerous NIH study sections and was appointed as a term member for the NIH HSOD and DDK-C. Dr. Inadomi has provided service to our national GI societies, culminating in his presidency for the American Gastroenterological Association 2021-2022. John has been an associate editor for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Gastroenterology, and is currently an associate editor for JAMA.
