Hibah Syed

Hibah is a passionate health advocate, currently pursuing her Master of Public Health degree at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences with a minor in Sociology, broadening her understanding of health from scientific and societal perspectives. Motivated by her interest in health advocacy and her experiences as the daughter of immigrant parents, witnessing health disparities firsthand in both Canada and Pakistan, Hibah is deeply driven to explore ways to improve global health outcomes. As a CARE scholar, she looks forward to collaborating with mentors and fellow scholars, aiming to contribute to impactful research that addresses pressing health issues. Outside of her studies, Hibah can be found enjoying a hike, sharing laughter with loved ones, and playing with her cat.
