Dang (Kevin) Nguyen
Dang “Kevin” Nguyen (he/him/his) is an aspiring physician-innovator dedicated to improving health outcomes among Asian communities worldwide. Currently pursuing an MSc in Epidemiology at Harvard University as a Vingroup Scholar, he has over five years of global health experience spanning Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean Islands, and the United States. Through his work at Massachusetts General Hospital, the World Heart Federation, and the American Heart Association, he has championed capacity building and health system innovations to address cardiometabolic diseases disproportionately affecting Asians. Having authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals, he continues to expand evidence-based practice and spotlight critical health inequities. Kevin’s mission is to champion underrepresented communities and help build a healthier, more equitable future for Asians everywhere.
