Dan Li, MD

Dan Li, MD, is a senior physician and gastroenterologist at Kaiser Permanente Northern California and a Clinical Investigator at Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research. Dr. Li’s research focuses on the screening and prevention of on stomach cancer in the diverse U.S. populations. His recent studies evaluated the risk of stomach cancer in individuals with gastric intestinal metaplasia as well as the effect of H. pylori treatment on risk reduction of incident gastric cancers. Dr. Li serves on the guideline committees of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology for the diagnosis and management of gastric premalignant conditions.
