Alice Lee

Alice, a Northwestern University alumna, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. As a first-generation immigrant, she faced challenges navigating a healthcare system with barriers to access. There were language and cultural barriers that Alice had to overcome even when medical emergencies occurred which fueled her passion for health advocacy for vulnerable and marginalized populations. Volunteering at a free clinic near Washington D.C., Alice aims to enhance access to quality care for marginalized patients. She is eager to contribute to Asian Health research through the CARES Scholars Program, acquiring skills to address pressing health issues. In her leisure time, Alice enjoys training for trap shooting competitions and creating matcha lattes.
