Virtual Panel Discussion: What Does It Mean to Be Asian in America? From Missing Data to Misrepresentation

CARE, the Stanford Asian Staff Forum, and the Asian American Journalist Association in San Francisco, hosted a virtual panel.

May 16, 2023 | The Stanford Center for Asian Health Research and Education, in collaboration with the Stanford Asian Staff Forum and the Asian American Journalist Association in San Francisco, hosted a virtual panel discussion titled "What Does It Mean to Be Asian in America? From Missing Data to Misrepresentation." The purpose of the discussion was to address the challenges faced by Asians in America, including the impact of stereotypes and issues of identity. The panel also explored how these disparities have been exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic and discussed potential solutions and actions that should be taken to address these issues.
