Building Healthier Communities: Tackling Asian Health Challenges Together

Join us for an evening of powerful stories and insights as we spotlight major health issues affecting Asian American communities through the lens of clinical expertise, personal experiences, and community action.

Our distinguished speakers will address critical health challenges — from cancer to cardiovascular disease — that impact Asian and South Asian populations. Through this conversation, we aim to foster greater understanding, inspire future healthcare leaders, and explore how community engagement can drive change.

Featured Speakers:

  • Dr. Linda Nguyen Clinical Professor, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Stanford University
  • Dr. Rajesh Dash Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Stanford University
  • Dr. Jison Hong Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Immunology and Rheumatology, Stanford University
  • Dr. Ann Chen Director of Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Co-Chief of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center

Audience: Open to Stanford MD students, PA students, and undergraduates who are interested in advancing Asian health equity.
