Event Title: Building Bridges: Connecting Campus with the Asian American Community

Event Date: Thursday, April 23, 6:00 PM

Location: McClatchy Hall, Room S40, Stanford Campus

Description: Join us for the second annual Building Bridges: Connecting Campus with Asian American Community — an evening dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships between Stanford students, faculty, and Asian American-serving nonprofit organizations across the Bay Area.

Through a moderated panel and intimate small-group discussions, participants will engage directly with representatives from five community-based organizations to explore how direct service, knowledge-sharing, and advocacy drive lasting change. This year's theme centers on inclusion — examining how community organizations practice and embed inclusion in their everyday work.Whether you're looking to deepen your understanding of community-based advocacy, explore opportunities beyond the classroom, or simply connect with like-minded peers and practitioners, this event offers a rare space for authentic dialogue and relationship-building.

Dinner is provided. Open to all Stanford students, faculty, and community members.

Hosted by STAN(D)FORCOMMUNITY, Asian American Research Center at Stanford, and AAGSA. Co-hosted by the Haas Center for Public Service and CARE.
