Description: Save the date for the AANHPI Heritage Month Lunch hosted by the Asian Staff Forum (ASF) and the Filipino American Community at Stanford (FACS), co-sponsored by the Office of Community Engagement (OCE) and Stanford CARE. This special event will feature a conversation with award-winning journalist and author Dion Lim, in dialogue with Donnovan Somera Yisrael ’89, MA.
The discussion will center on her book, Amplify! My Fight for Asian America, highlighting her reporting on anti-Asian violence, her personal journey as an Asian American journalist, and her advocacy for greater visibility and equity. Join us for an engaging conversation and an opportunity to reflect on storytelling, community, and impact during AANHPI Heritage Month.
