Stanford CARE AI Summer Program for High School Students
About
The Stanford CARE AI Summer Program for High School Students is a dynamic two-week in-person experience designed for high school students passionate about improving health outcomes in Asian communities and beyond. Participants will explore critical health topics affecting Asian populations, learn the fundamentals of statistical data analysis, learn to use AI tools, including ChatGPT, to analyze health datasets, and develop essential leadership and teamwork skills.
- Dates: Weekdays, June 16-27, 2025
- Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm (tentative)
- Location: Li Ka Shing Center (LKSC), Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA
- Fees: Application Fee $39 | Program Fee: $3950
- This is a day-only program. No housing will be provided.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Stanford CARE AI Summer Program for High School Students, students will learn:
- Fundamentals of statistical data analysis techniques
- How to use AI tools like ChatGPT to look at and understand health data
- To recognize and explain important health issues impacting Asian communities
- Leadership and teamwork skills
