ADVANCE recognizes the critical importance of studying Type 1 and 2 diabetes in Asian populations, given the unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that influence the prevalence and manifestation of diabetes within this demographic. By focusing on these specific influences, we aim to understand the knowledge gaps that exist and lay the groundwork for developing targeted interventions and treatment strategies that can significantly enhance health outcomes.
