ADVANCE Biobank

The ADVANCE Biobank, an Asian diabetes biobank, was created to address the unique and disproportionate burden of diabetes within Asian populations by identifying population-specific genetic factors, biomarkers, and lifestyle influences that drive the disease and its complications.
We aim to enroll at least 10,000 participants into the ADVANCE Biobank.
Our biobank supports basic and translational science by providing high-quality, clinically annotated specimens. We empower patients to contribute to research and participate in biospecimen donation.
